The multicolour LED, green, orange and red provides visual feedback about the CO2 measurement levels, ideal for schools, hospitals, public areas, etc.

With smart sensoring technology the power usage is almost zero. Based upon the settings, the StreamLine CO2 + Air Quality sensor operates up to 3,3 years, without recharging the battery.
The LoRa data communication is encrypted, providing safe end-to-end communications.
For LoRaWan data communications use LoRaWan compliant gateways or contact a local LoRaWan telecommunications provider for connectivity.
Local actual readings can be obtained from the sensor using NFC and the optional BLE technology.
The module can be customised to different specifications if required when ordering in large volumes by requesting a OEM production run.

When fully charged, the battery voltage is about 4,14 Volt. Recharging the battery is recommended when battery voltage is lower than 3,41 Volt.

CO2 - sensor details
The 4743 LoRa StreamLine CO2 sensor is the ideal sensor used in demand controlled ventilation, building automation and process control.
The CO2 measurement is based on the dual channel wavelength NDIR principle, which compensates for ageing effects, is highly insensitive to pollution and offers outstanding long term stability. A multiple point CO2 and temperature factory adjustment procedure leads to excellent CO2 measurement accuracy over the entire temperature working range.
Besides CO2, the sensor also measures temperature and barometric pressure. The temperature and barometric pressure compensation with on-board sensors minimizes the impact of altitude and ambient conditions onto the CO2 measured data.
Note: the rate of ventilation required can be determined by the dual channel NDIR CO2 sensor.
With the NFC, based upon the settings, the CO2 monitor can provide instant status feedback. With the NFC, the device settings can be written to the device, as well as firmware updates can be written. This functionality can also be used to provide a quick read from the device using an NDEF enabled phone
BLE Bluetooth Low Energy
Add extra functionality, using the BLE communications module fully customisable interactions with nearby Bluetooth enabled devices, eg. Automatically open/close windows.
The multicolor LED provides visual feedback about the CO2 measurement levels, ideal for schools, hospitals, public areas, etc. Default set to Green, Yellow and Red to indicate the CO2 levels, but free configurable to any set of colors.
VOC – air quality sensor details
The VOC air quality sensor is a digital 4-in-1 sensor with gas, humidity, pressure and temperature measurement based on proven sensing principles. This sensor provides general air quality. For ventilation purposes, please see above CO2 dual channel NDIR sensor.
The specifications are deduced from new sensors that have been operated for at least five days mainly in ambient air and consequently have the same history (i.e.
same power mode and exposed to the same environment).
Besides ethanol (EtOH) as a target test gas, the sensors are also tested with breath-VOC (b-VOC). The b-VOC mixture, as listed in the table, represents the most important compounds in an exhaled breath of healthy humans. The values are derived from several publications on breath analysis studies.
